"The Little Engine That Can" team will enter a major U.S. brand mini-van equipped with a 223 hp PDT Engine. Alterations to the van will include a solution to the cab heater issue as a result of the removal of the radiator (since it won¹t be needed), the modification of engine feedback devices to read engine data, the mounting and drive belt to run accessory devices such as the alternator, power steering pump and air conditioning pump.
The benefits gleaned from this effort will include PDT's identification of technical issues to overcome in subsequent applications, and society will see the benefit of 100+ MPGe, an increase in performance and much less environmental damage caused by automobiles.
