IIn the late sixties after arriving home from a long road trip, my eco-conscious three-year-old daughter greeted me with the statement "Daddy, your truck smokes! You're a polluter!" That comment hurt coming from her. Why did diesels have to smoke and smell so bad? Driven to reason on that statement, I began working on a solution to the problem an eco-system friendly, green loving PDT engine concept which came to light in the early seventies its original intention to reduce
emissions.

As a natural consequence of the emission-reducing design, the engineering calculations also found the engine to allow for incredible fuel efficiency. In 2002, PDT Engines was incorporated in the State of Minnesota by Cordell Moe with the intent of marketing and producing his eco-friendly, patented Positive Displacement Turbine engine design.

Engine design engineers agree that 2/3 of every gallon of fuel used by Internal Combustion (IC) engines today is thermally wasted via the radiator and exhaust. The PDT Engine is being developed to fully utilize this energy and turn it into useful shaft torque, creating an extremely efficient and economical engine.

The PDT team states that its engine concept is a green-earth renaissance of the IC engine -- a versatile hybrid of proven eco-friendly technologies. Several features of the PDT Engines System remain proprietary at this point in time; however, the team maintains that the engine has a mechanical advantage six times greater than that of today¹s reciprocating engine, adding to the energy conserving adiabatic base. The elimination of fuel and heat waste, and the reduction of carbon neutral emissions resulting from burning fuels is a priority for PDT Engines Inc.
