| "The Little Engine That Can" has dual responsibilities. First, it is the manufacturing division of PDT Engines, Inc. As such, it¹s engineers and metallurgists will work closely with the designer of the PDT Engine, to develop and assemble the parts needed to create the engines. This division will also be responsible for the technicians and mechanics who will be installing the PDT engine into purchasers' vehicles, creating any special mounting brackets needed for running accessories off of the engine and for setting up alternatives to cab heat, motor mounts and transmission bolt-ins.
Secondly, "The Little Engine That Can" will be the team that will "race" the minivan outfitted with the original PDT Engine in the Progressive Automotive® X-Prize "races" to be held in 2009/2010. The team will consist of the technicians and mechanics who will be involved in the assembly line installation of PDT engines once the orders come in.
